If your team already has those, add a basic handheld oscilloscope to your troubleshooting rotation. This sounds like equipment creep, but I watched a recurring, expensive problem disappear after adding those tools. A 100 MHz unit was enough for checking power rails and pulse signal quality in our case. The technician who used it had never owned one before; the training time was about one hour.
